The tapping feet, the twirling of the girls' circle skirts and the heat.
At times, it seemed that the music was never ending, that Chuck Berry's School days could've played forever and everyone would've carried swinging and jumping and laughing.

But everything comes to an end.

Mary-Jane Catherine Bennet, after seeking success in the big apple, she has come back to find out that life back home, in the small ghetto in the periphery of New Orleans, has moved on without her.
She's now stuck in between times, the problems she's tried to escape in the two cities have gathered and joined forces, to face her once and for all.
