After that summer, Owen thought that everything had ended...but it was just the beginning. Summer, the mysterious girl with the name of the season when she left him, disappeared without a trace. Suddenly, she returned seven years later.

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.

When her plans of leaving suddenly change, and she is forced to start attending the local school, her life takes a route that she hadn't accounted for. A new group of friends, a chance at a normal teenage life, even a potential love interest - things that Amelia had never even thought about happening after everything she'd been through. But happiness is only temporary in her life, and she knew that. It wasn't surprising to her when her past began to catch up with her present, it was simply a good thing that it had taken as long as it had. Things start happening in Amelia's life that simply don't make sense, even to her. They do say you should always keep an eye over your shoulder, especially when you know you're being hunted, but for Amelia, even an eye in every direction wouldn't be enough. Time begins counting down, fast. Did she want to involve her friends? Could the new people in her life be trusted? She wouldn't have long to make a decision. -Summer teen romance- Isla Nova Dawson has always been the type of girl to hang out amongst big crowds of people. She prefers the company of a few people where she feels the most confident in. She thrives lost in the crowd, where she can confidently make jokes and laugh heartily at others that may not be that funny. There's no surprise why Isla has become some of the popular type at school- she loves being known by others. Julian Hayes isn't a loner. No- far from it- he has a group of friends he plays baseball with and surf during the summer. He has family that he is known to hang out with. He just tends to stay away from big crowd of people where he doesn't feel comfortable in. Isla and her friends find themself at this opportunity of a lifetime. Finishing off her Junior year of high school, her school offers resources to go on a trip with teenagers like her. Travel for Teens isn't a new concept but it is for the small town of South Carolina. At this opportunity, the group of people jump at the chance to get out and do something new which will no doubt be fun. It was supposed to be fun for Julian as well but after plans abruptly change and thousands of dollars that cannot go to waste, he finds himself alone at the trip. Sure, he can go out and socialize with teenagers especially since they're ones from his school but he finds himself isolated from the group. The teens throw a big party at the house during the end of the trip. The small leads to a boring night at the end. The teens find themself playing little games to occupy time. "I dare you to kiss a guy you don't even know the name of," Isla was asked and soon she found herself kissing Julian. It shocks Julian to a pause, here he was sitting idly to a girl kissing him suddenly. Julian ponders on it, but then finds out that the kiss wasn't meant to be anything. But will the kiss turn out to be nothing if life throws the pair together on many counts? Or will two strangers keep it that way?
