The Lightning Effect (Anko)

The word happiness, doesn't have much meaning for 23 year old, Andrew Hanbridge.

Forsaken by his father after his mothers death, Andrew grew up in a lonely, cramped atmosphere. Shadows surrounded him everywhere he went and soon the only thing on his mind, was to make his father proud. Often, he would sit back and think about how he would have never made it through, without his adopted younger sister; Diana Cavendish Hanbridge.

The word hope, is the only thing that keeps 20 year old Atsuko Kagari, pumping through the hard days.

She was brought up in a stable family for most of her life, but that all changed when her father left them, with a large debt. Fueled with anger, her mother began to become vulgar and abusive and often had let strange men come into their house. From the years six to eleven all Atsuko felt was fear. The only way she kept moving on, was because of her older sister, Arcana, who was always their when she needed her to be. But fate hated Atsuko, for on her 13th birthday, Arcana was accidentally killed.

When Akko turned 18, she learned her sisters death wasn't just an accident. Fueled with determination, she vowed to not rest until she found her sisters killer.

Two people. One case, and both of them are at the same place, at the same time. They are drawn to each other, like a moth to a flame.
