Prevail

PREVAIL is the story of Jessica, an ordinary house wife who lives a quiet refreshing life with her husband Justin and their two children. When a motorcycle accident leaves Justin with a Traumatic Brain Injury, Jessica's simple predictable life ends, and she is thrown into a painful psychological upheaval.
Jessica is forced to embark on a journey of self-discovery, one that requires a tremendous amount of strength, honesty and courage to face the reality of her new life. She refuses to accept that her husband could change so dramatically, standing behind him keeping hope and love alive, even while she is tortured by the emotional and sometimes physical hell that he has brought into their lives.
Two years after the accident she finally gains the courage to make the heart wrenching decision on whether she will save herself or drown in his lonely darkness along with him.
The premise of PREVAIL is based on actual events and is an honest look into the unspoken darker side of life after a TBI, which is one of the major causes of death and disability in the United States.
