Yin and Yang. Light cannot exist without Darkness, and Darkness cannot exist without Light. However one such World defies these terms. This is the world that the Council Of Elementals resided. Aided those fated to be heroes by gifting them a power from birth. However this land is engulfed with shadows by a villainous foe, intent on ruining the peace and prosperity ruling over the land. The Elementals powers suddenly are not their own to give anymore, and sometimes it is gifted to evil. This cycle took root. A villain would rise, aided by the power of an Elemental, and then a hero gifted with the power of an elemental would also rise to face them. Set through trials to reach the Cave Of The Elements, to deem weither they are ready for the task. However along this millennia of repeated villains and heroes new tradition have been set in place for the Elementals. Traditions that restrain even addressing each other by name. And when Derik the Destroyer arises, conquering kingdoms and towns alike, they don't know if it can be stopped. Will the new chosen hero be enough? Or will fate gather together a band of worthy heroes and defy the Elementals 'sacred' tradition, to banish the shadows from their land? How will Sara, a normal teenager nearing adulthood, face this most fearsome foe? You'll just have to see for yourself.All Rights Reserved

Present day we find ourselves in a small city named New Haeven that has become the centre of the secret world of light and dark.The current story follows a Guardian by the name of Ronin. Ronin saw the faces of the new Children of the Light and was tasked by the Elders to track them down and protect them at all costs.The children were both college students and were one male and one female whose names were James Hillman and Sara Danvers..When Ronin went to see he ran into a ghost from his past, Lillian. The story continues on with Ronin seeking answers from the Elders about how a Guardian could come back from the dead.

Two hundred years of peace have passed in Zertima, a land filled with magic, creatures, and mages. However, after those two hundred years comes an era of fear, fighting, and death. The Venom's Curse, known as the world's greatest danger, has climbed up to reach a level of great power, with the help of his fierce hunger for battle and commanding, that is strong enough to possibly secure his rule of the entire mage world. In order to save Zertima from potential collapse and eternal perishing, four young mages are found, called the Elemental Mages. The Mages - Water, Earth, Fire, and Air - are taken to a sheltered location named the Mage Sanctuary to train together and prepare for their eventual battle with the Venom's Curse and to rid of the trepidation he has cast across all of Zertima. However, not all of the Mages are willing to commit their life to train with the others and help save the mage world. Ignacia, the Elemental Mage of Fire, is the newest and last mage to be Founded and come to the others. Along with easily getting into arguments with Water Mage Salil, she is in an internal battle with herself trying to decide what choice she should really choose to carry through with. *Book originally inspired by "The Burning Sky" by Sherry Thomas.
