Yin and Yang. Light cannot exist without Darkness, and Darkness cannot exist without Light. However one such World defies these terms. This is the world that the Council Of Elementals resided. Aided those fated to be heroes by gifting them a power from birth. However this land is engulfed with shadows by a villainous foe, intent on ruining the peace and prosperity ruling over the land. The Elementals powers suddenly are not their own to give anymore, and sometimes it is gifted to evil. This cycle took root. A villain would rise, aided by the power of an Elemental, and then a hero gifted with the power of an elemental would also rise to face them. Set through trials to reach the Cave Of The Elements, to deem weither they are ready for the task. However along this millennia of repeated villains and heroes new tradition have been set in place for the Elementals. Traditions that restrain even addressing each other by name. And when Derik the Destroyer arises, conquering kingdoms and towns alike, they don't know if it can be stopped. Will the new chosen hero be enough? Or will fate gather together a band of worthy heroes and defy the Elementals 'sacred' tradition, to banish the shadows from their land? How will Sara, a normal teenager nearing adulthood, face this most fearsome foe? You'll just have to see for yourself.All Rights Reserved

Two hundred years of peace have passed in Zertima, a land filled with magic, creatures, and mages. However, after those two hundred years comes an era of fear, fighting, and death. The Venom's Curse, known as the world's greatest danger, has climbed up to reach a level of great power, with the help of his fierce hunger for battle and commanding, that is strong enough to possibly secure his rule of the entire mage world. In order to save Zertima from potential collapse and eternal perishing, four young mages are found, called the Elemental Mages. The Mages - Water, Earth, Fire, and Air - are taken to a sheltered location named the Mage Sanctuary to train together and prepare for their eventual battle with the Venom's Curse and to rid of the trepidation he has cast across all of Zertima. However, not all of the Mages are willing to commit their life to train with the others and help save the mage world. Ignacia, the Elemental Mage of Fire, is the newest and last mage to be Founded and come to the others. Along with easily getting into arguments with Water Mage Salil, she is in an internal battle with herself trying to decide what choice she should really choose to carry through with. *Book originally inspired by "The Burning Sky" by Sherry Thomas. Just another generic story about some high schooler with powers being the chosen one and saving the world. Okay, maybe not the entire world. But our protagonist here may end up saving her country plus the spirit realm from a power-hungry goddess... or she may not. So we have a country, Cloudgate, which I accidentally named after a giant bean in Chicago. (Look it up, guys) Then we have auras, which are these magical power source thingies from the heavens, or should I say the Realm of Spirits, which give the people of Cloudgate supernatural abilities. Except the auras are actually cursed, which messes with the human's powers, and now auras have become synonymous with curses and aura-having humans face heavy persecution. Skye Everson, the afformented chosen one protagonist, is one of these aura-havers, and she has ice powers. For a long time, she had idolized mages and wanted to hone her skills so she could become a mage herself. The problem? Aura magic is no longer legal. Fortunately for Skye, she gets kidnapped by a secret society that trains mages illegally, and may now have a chance to live out her dreams as an ice mage. But becoming a practiced magic user in this day and age may not be all its cracked up to be... (Age rating: 13+)

This is the sequel to Elemental Outbreak. Who would've thought we'd be here. Honestly I didn't think that five page story from like a decade ago or something like that would become this, me and my friends are planning for a trilogy as well so it's crazy to think about it looking back. Anyways let me move past the nostalgia trip and whatnot lol, there might be minor spoilers below so if you haven't read the first here's the warning. One month after the previous events, our survivors are trying to settle once again into the zombie apocalypse and survive, the first time they got lucky with a secure home now it's starting to seem like they'll never find a home. That's not their only problem after the death of their enemy once thought to be friend, the whole world started to gain a second set of elemental abilities how will they manage? Along side that a new force of evil is starting to fill the void our big bad has left behind.
