When 13-year-old Maddi Wilkinson gets taken away from her family, her friends, and everything she knows because of a wrist injury that has gone too far, she is sent to an adoption center for teens. Just when she thought her life was over, an old friend came to try and adopt her. A friend she met on the internet whom everyone was against because of his age.
Maddi was adopted by the man she trusted and loved. He took her to his house and treated her like family. He tried to make her life as awesome as he possibly could. She'd been through hell, it was the least he could do.
