Dean stood over her grinning, savoring the crisp screams around him as the young girl clenched her jaw and squeezed her eyes shut. The demon was carving a bracelet in her wrist with lined cuts. It looked like bloody war paint. In all the ways that the green-eyed demon had torn her soul to shreds, this was different, yet she didn't question it long and closed her eyes again, biting her tongue to not giving him the satisfaction of her screams. "I got bored", the damned man said, she could hear a shrug in his low voice and ignored it, entering her thoughts again. "Thought I'd draw a bit", he laughed.
Max breathed in slightly and felt ash fill her lungs and then escape back into hell, realizing that any pain was gone. Still, she opened her eyes to see Dean staring at her wildly, incredulously. His mouth was slightly open and his hands, still holding the blade hung slightly at his side as he stared at her incredulously. She didn't care though, she turned her head to look away from the man, feeling her burned flesh grow agitated at the motion, but it felt like nothing more than a tickle against the agony that she knew would only stop momentarily.
She looked back at him, expecting another snicker or the feeling of metal clotting her veins once again but saw instead Dean with wild eyes darting up and sideways. He looked vulnerable, he looked human. That's when she heard a quiet voice, gruff in nature but gentle. "Hello, Dean" she heard it whisper and she looked up at it as Dean fell to his knees, ears pouring blood. A hand reached down to him grabbing his shoulder roughly and he looked over at her, terrified. " Maxine!" Dean shouted and grabbed her arm only slightly above her elbow and she woke up in the woods, alone, with a soft whisper of a voice still ringing in her ears, "Dean Winchester is saved along with another, we must find Maxine Byrne."

"Let's just get out of here and we'll figure something out" as soon as Sam said that we were transferred to the throne room where Crowley was. "Leaving so soon?" He asked. Rowena was standing beside him and a bunch of demons on each side of the room. "Well this is a nice change of scenery" i said. "It's hell" said Sam. "I was being sarcastic" I whispered to him. "You think you have a choice, and that's sweet and all,but it's time you take the knife and do what you were destined to do" said Crowley and offered me the knife that was on his hand. I started walking towards him when someone grabbed my arm. I turned and saw Dean with pleading eyes and said "Please, you don't have to do this". "As a matter of fact she does" said Crowley. I pulled my arm from Dean's grip and walked towards Crowley taking the knife on my hand. Rowena handed me a large rusty bowl and i placed it on the floor. "I'm way too sober for this" I mumbled to myself. "Why are you glaring at me?" asked Crowley and i turned to see who he was referring to. "I'm hoping you'll spontaneously combust" answered Sam. "I'm going to need chicken blood, salt, five candles and a bottle of vodka" said Crowley to a random demon. "Vodka? For the spell?" asked Rowena confused. "No,that's for me. It's just to make me feel better about ripping a whole in the universe" i answered ironically looking at her. Credits for the cover pic of my book go to @gomezmanip on instagram. Please follow her.

All Freya had known, her entire life was pain, in one shape or another. Physical pain, from all the days spent in the foster care system, emotional pain from the death of her parents and older brother... She carried her scars like badges of honor. She had known right from the start that she wasn't like the other kids. Sometimes, when she got angry, her fingernails got really sharp, or sometimes, if she clenched a glass just a little too tightly, it would shatter. She could hear the conversations of her neighbors four houses down, she could smell the chocolate bar, still in the wrapper, in the pocket of her jacket downstairs, and she could see in the dark, just as well as she could see during the daylight, but she never knew why. Her parents and older brother had been killed when she was five. The only thing she still had from them was her mother's journal. It didn't give her a lot of information on who or what she was, but she did learn all about everything that goes bump in the night. Ghosts? Easy, salt and burn them, baby! Demons? Holy water and exorcisms. But there was one thing in her journal that didn't make sense. The name John Winchester, a phone number, and the simple phrase that says, "Freya, find him." So when she turned 18 and she was turned out of the foster care system, she decided to start looking for him. She wouldn't find him until five years later, completely by accident, when she was trying to catch a few hours of sleep on a small bridge on the way out of a small town called Jericho, California.

"Dean, please..." I stand frozen, staring at the man I love. His legs stride toward me, closing our distance in seconds. He hovers over my petite figure, his intimidation only making me feel smaller. "This isn't you." "THIS IS THE NEW ME!" He shouts before grabbing my hair and pulling me close. "The old, weak, pathetic, scared little boy you knew is long gone. It's only me, and I'm not going anywhere..." I watch as he flashes his black, demonic eyes. My hands fly up to his entangled one in my hair. I yank at it, struggling to be set free. Anger and lust take over his once expressionless face. His sharp gaze travels down to my shirt. Nodding at it, he says, "Take it off." My eyes widened, shocked by the words that came out of his mouth. I part my lips to say no, but nothing comes out. His unoccupied hand roughly grips my chin, forcing me to look into his dark green eyes. His thumb firmly drags across my bottom lip as he licks his own. My heart pounds louder as I desperately try to escape his grasp, knowing the sinful act he's planning to commit against me. "Do it!" He yells, his voice resonating off the walls to make it seem louder, driving me to jump uncontrollably. His gaze rakes over my face, taking notice of my fear. A slow and sinister smile spreads across his lips. A sick feeling descends into the pit of my stomach, knowing my fear is pleasing him. I swallow hard when I hear him calmly but sternly say, "Or I'll do it for you." {All Supernatural's characters and it's storylines belong to Kripke. Dean stared at the phone in utter disbelief. "You sick sonuvabitch," he growled, grip tightening on the phone. "Shame they were in the way, isn't it, Dean? It was so easy. . . ." The man was quiet for a moment, his steady breathing the only noise breaking the chilling silence. When he finally spoke again, something akin to pure pleasure colored his tone. "The look of terror in a man's eyes when he knows he's going to be murdered is truly breathtaking, Dean. A myriad of emotions all played out for my benefit." "Who you talkin' to?" Sam asked, brows pulled together, mouth turned downward as he frowned. Dean raised a hand to silence Sam, giving him a warning glance. "Ah, is that Sammy?" The man chuckled. "I do so love the inflection in his voice. I've often fantasized what it will sound like as he's begging for his life." The hairs on the nape of Dean's neck stood on end, beads of sweat forming on his forehead. "You're not gonna touch him. You hear me?" "Hang up the damn phone, Dean." Sam turned in his seat to stare at Dean. "Just hang up." "You know him best, what do you think it would take to make him scream?" Dean swallowed hard against the tight knot forming in his throat. The muscle in his jaw jerked erratically as he clenched his teeth. "Touch him and I swear to God, I'll hunt you down and kill you." "You can't be with him every second, Dean. He is going to die. It's just a matter of when." Dean shook his head, eyes narrowing. "You'll never get the chance." "I can get to anyone . . . anywhere, anytime - like right now." Hearing the ominous click-click of a rifle being cocked, Dean dropped the phone. "Sammy, get down!" He grabbed Sam, pushed his head down and ducked. A blast of gunfire echoed through the stillness of the night, quickly followed by another. Glass shattered above them, then the car swerved out of control as the second bullet struck the back tire.
