I tried writing a dystopian book because face it much like every other teenager I have read soooooooo many of those books and wanted to give it a shot myself. However, I write comedy and am I comedic person so it turned into sorta a parody of your basic "dystopian" book. I like it a lot better honestly. This is just a fun casual thing for me but I hope you can enjoy it too.
Plot: The year is 3012 cause lets face it 2012 scared the bejesus out of a whole lot of people. The C.O.P- the central organization of people- are having the masses work their asses (haha see what I did there) to get the cure for this plague which effects are purely cosmetic. People look ugly when they don't get the injections to stop it but only the rich and I mean the really rich can afford it. Jacgeleryn, a girl with a name that will never be clarified how to pronounce it and therefore you'll spend this whole time reading it not being able to sound it out in your head, is randomly one day chosen and injected with the serum. This unmotivated horny teenager has to navigate this new world as an injected while also figuring out one, how she got there and what her purpose is and two if the pretty boy has a crush on her or not. This book will keep you on the back of your seat slouching over, slightly uninterested the entire time.

Jonah turned his face, but I didn't look back at him, I kept staring up at the skies. He turned back to the sky and took a breather before answering. "We're always going to be alone, Rose. Always. We'll be haunted by the darkness that is our own shadow, but in every shadow there's a light." He answered, as if the simplest thing in the world. I only stared at him with a dropped jaw. That was out of this world. Especially coming from Jonah. "When does it get better?" I mumbled. "It doesn't. But to go through it with someone makes it a whole lot easier." He turned back to face me. We stared at each other for a while. He'd always occasionally look down at my lips, and I'd do the same to him. I broke it off and looked back up at the sky. -=- New York City. The place of opportunities. But what shall Rose do when there's so many of them? Jonah, the seducer with a British accent, or Cameron, equally British but sweet. Her clock is ticking. She has one year to make up her mind until the exchange program takes back all their Brits and their New Yorkers return. And so the end-of-the-year party is the final strike. Either Rose chooses...or she doesn't. *WARNING* I began this book (my first book ever) when I was like 11 or 12 years old so the first chapters (idk how many) suck, not gonna lie. I had scrapped so many ideas (that I only really wrote a few chapters of) that when I was older enough to realize the story I had going so far sucked, I didn't want to scrap again, so I finished for that sake in a span of 3 years (and ended in 2014). But seriously, this book contains a lot of toxic stuff so if you're going to read it just be aware. Also I wrote this when I was like 12 soooo yikes but that also means I was writing about things that I had no real knowledge of. Please educate yourself and if I do ever decide to rewrite this cursed book I will be sure to acknowledge some more of the things in this story that are a bit too much. idk what this is but one day my friend and I randomly decided to take our OCs from different fantasy stories and put them all together in a modern/future/cyberpunk aesthetic world instead. More comedic and satire than the typical serious stuff we usually do. I just decided to put it up here in case anyone enjoyed it Some characters from my book "Ascendant" are recycled for this (Muiredach, Uriah, and Runa) my friend created and wrote for Adeline, Raegan, and Klaus All other characters were created and written by myself Rated M for mature because of language. There's not a lot of sex or anything aside from talking and joking. I think ages 15 to 25 would likely enjoy it the most. It's kind of goofy and fun. LORE AND CONTEXT: A very satire-like cyberpunk style world in 2100s. Superheroes are kind of a known thing though extremely rare and not like how Marvel has one down every street. There are ambiguous "powers and magical forces" people have spoken about more so than in our world but other than that, it's basically our world but the hypothetical and comedic future. New London is a neglected city off the coast of Canada (Canada is known as North Montana now after the US took it). It's huge and very cyberpunk in style... but it's hard to describe so find our Pinterest board about the story by following the external link in the story parts... Very Gotham City like. It was where many people from the UK migrated to after the third world war but the city's politics and system are awful and the crime rate is super high
Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Now let me add in something else. I'm wanted by the CIA for reasons that I don't even know, but I guess I will find out eventually. Maybe somewhere within my story I will figure it out.
