dick takes on the batman legacy, leaving his past behind. he puts his own spin the legacy, however. batman no longer puts hope into the hearts of gotham. he strikes fear.

about three years after bruce's tragic death, lilian rose, who has just gotten back from the military, comes back to her abusive household hoping to change things.
she meets the batman one night, and he spares her.
she can't help but ask herself why the world's biggest super villain didn't just kill her.
to find out, she takes on the nightwing persona.
dick can't help but take interest in the girl, but what happens when he makes her choose between good and evil; between having him, and having no one?

A woman hardened from life on the streets, battling a strange incurable illness that is killing her, along with Ra's Al Ghul and the shadow king. Both are after her powers for their own personal gain. Will the BatFamily be able to save her life? Will she become one of them? Bruce Wayne knows of you but you don't know him till he talks to you in one of his charity events. I started writing my first fanfic story because I read a lot of fan fiction were the reader is "batmom" usually the storyline is about how she was this amazing hero who fights with the batfamily. Of course different artists have their own unique batmom. But somehow all of the batmoms that I have read didn't really have what I wanted so it just inspired me to write my own batmom. The Second Giant War was gruesome. With only 3 of the 7 left alive, they demigods of prophecy left the camps. They were unable, or maybe just unwilling, to be in the places where their friends once walked. They chose to escape the world of demigods while they still could. They wanted to try for normal so that maybe, one day, they could forget any of it ever happened. They wanted peace and safety. Nico... well, Nico had other ways of coping. ------------- Nico had had a long life. 16 years old, plus however many had passed in that cured casino had left little joy in his life. He had lost his grandparents, his mother, Bianca, his friends, and then Hazel... he missed her more than he could bare. He only knew his sister for around a year before he had lost her, and not a single day had passed in the last two years that he hadn't thought of her. He couldn't go to either camp or the underworld without feeling like his chest would explode from the pain. He knew she was in a better place. Her and Frank were in Elysium with Jason, Piper, and the rest of the heroes that died in the wars. She was at peace. Maybe she had even managed meet his mother and they were watching him now... though he honestly hoped they weren't. (Y/N) moved to Gotham to give herself and her son Eilis a fresh start. Sure, people thought she was crazy for leaving Metropolis for a crime run city, but she had her reasons. While she had hoped to meet with the Big Bad Bat, she wasn't expecting to also befriend the multimillionaire playboy and his children, the Waynes. Cathleen was only five when it happened, when her parents died before her eyes. That night started out amazing, she had dinner with them and they went out for ice cream. However, Gotham isn't a place where good things last. When they made it to their car, it exploded, killing her mother instantly, her father rushed to save his daughter, but was gunned down. Little Cathleen could only lay there motionless and watch, whilst slipping into a coma. She slept for a year, but then woke up. The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage. Cathleen was adopted by Bruce Wayne the following week, now, it's time for her new life to begin. I own story line. Don't be haters!Complete
