for a moment, seeing the tears in this girl's eyes, i felt the old dick grayson coming back.

what if bruce wayne died? what if the grief-stricken dick grayson became a super villain?
what if the bat symbol meant something else? something like fear?
but what if one girl could change everything?

dick takes on the batman legacy, leaving his past behind. he puts his own spin the legacy, however. batman no longer puts hope into the hearts of gotham. he strikes fear.

about three years after bruce's tragic death, lilian rose, who has just gotten back from the military, comes back to her abusive household hoping to change things.
she meets the batman one night, and he spares her.
she can't help but ask herself why the world's biggest super villain didn't just kill her.
to find out, she takes on the nightwing persona.
dick can't help but take interest in the girl, but what happens when he makes her choose between good and evil; between having him, and having no one?
what will lili do?

Don't Fear the Reaper
The Second Giant War was gruesome. With only 3 of the 7 left alive, they demigods of prophecy left the camps. They were unable, or maybe just unwilling, to be in the places where their friends once walked. They chose to escape the world of demigods while they still could. They wanted to try for normal so that maybe, one day, they could forget any of it ever happened. They wanted peace and safety. Nico... well, Nico had other ways of coping. ------------- Nico had had a long life. 16 years old, plus however many had passed in that cured casino had left little joy in his life. He had lost his grandparents, his mother, Bianca, his friends, and then Hazel... he missed her more than he could bare. He only knew his sister for around a year before he had lost her, and not a single day had passed in the last two years that he hadn't thought of her. He couldn't go to either camp or the underworld without feeling like his chest would explode from the pain. He knew she was in a better place. Her and Frank were in Elysium with Jason, Piper, and the rest of the heroes that died in the wars. She was at peace. Maybe she had even managed meet his mother and they were watching him now... though he honestly hoped they weren't. Back in the early days of Batman and Robin, aka Dick Grayson, they stumbled upon a little girl who had the ability to become the shadows themselves. They took her in and for four years life was peaceful, but one night her and Batman fight. She leaves. Now, in the days of the bat family, with Signal and all the ones that came before him, the little girl from before, Laura, has made a reappearance. She is not little anymore. A woman hardened from life on the streets, battling a strange incurable illness that is killing her, along with Ra's Al Ghul and the shadow king. Both are after her powers for their own personal gain. Will the BatFamily be able to save her life? Will she become one of them? Will they be able to defeat the Shadow King and Ra's Al Ghul, the cunning Demon himself?
Cathleen Josephine Maria Grace
Cathleen was only five when it happened, when her parents died before her eyes. That night started out amazing, she had dinner with them and they went out for ice cream. However, Gotham isn't a place where good things last. When they made it to their car, it exploded, killing her mother instantly, her father rushed to save his daughter, but was gunned down. Little Cathleen could only lay there motionless and watch, whilst slipping into a coma. She slept for a year, but then woke up. The doctors didn't know how to console the traumatized six year old girl, so they let her cry it out. Once she was able to leave the hospital, she was sent to Juvi, because all of Gotham's orphanages where full. She was in Juvi for a year, before taken hostage by Joker. That's when she met Batman, and Red Robin, and Red Hood, And Nightwing. They saved her, they notice that she shouldn't be in Juvi, so they bring her to an orphanage. Cathleen was adopted by Bruce Wayne the following week, now, it's time for her new life to begin. I own story line. Don't be haters!Completa

Who really trained Damien? Was it Bruce, or was it Dick? Well, surprisingly, Dick Grayson is the actual mentor of Damien Wayne, Cassandra Cain, and Stephanie Brown; AKA Robin, Orphan, and Spoiler. Bruce has been 'dead' for about three weeks now, and Gotham is getting restless. Dick knows that it's time for him to become Batman, even if it means he has to find the body of his mentor to confirm this. Damien Wayne was thrust to his care by Thalia, just out of the blue. He was already overwhelmed with everything, so he didn't know how to handle his new brother. However, that didn't mean he was an ass to him. After some time, Gotham gets worse. The bat fam needs more help, but they don't want to call in for it. They find two new girls fighting in the streets, and Dick thinks his prayers have been answered.Completa
