There is a war waging, but not many know it's happening. The war will probably decide the fate of the world, but still not many people know it's happening. The only people who know the war is happening are the people fighting in it, and those people aren't exactly human. They're shadows and lights. When Mai is thrown into the war she believes she only has one choice. To kill. But is that really her only choice?
Why fight for someone? Love? Money? Power? Sex? Why live when everything you lived for came crashing down leaving you in the world to feign for yourself? Yet as they say 'Shit Happens'. Taking it back is out of the question because in the end the paradise will be worth the trip.
Now it's up to Niamha to find out what's worth fighting for. Who's worth fighting for. And if love is the ultimate price to pay for all this fighting.
