Ellie Irwin is a 17 year-old girl living in the suburbs of Sydney, Australia with her parents and 'beloved'(over-protective) brother, Ashton. When Ellie's parents take a chance to go on a one-on-one trip with each other, she is forced to spend the summer with her older brother and his 'friends' instead of her own. Once she realizes who her brothers mates are, Ellie starts to think her summer wouldn't be so bad for her, but after spending too much time with older boys, Ellie learns a lot, especially about tough love.
