Natsuki didn't have a mate
Well, she assumed she didn't. According to what she knew mates were only given to those that were capable of handling it. Natsuki couldn't even talk to cashiers without her heart jumping out of her chest.
So she didn't have a mate.
She was content with that.

Upon her arrival back home Natsuki had begun preparing her ordinary life to come that was finishing up university, beginning an internship and working until she died.
It was much sadder than what it seemed.
But with a new pack situating itself a walking distance from her home, Natsuki might be given something she had not envisioned in her life plan.
