I wrote this poem when I was figuring out how to come out to my parents after telling everyone else. My somewhat irrational fear led me to write this to show those who can't see the beauty of this community or can't accept this community that their words can't effect me.

Poems for the broken
I started writing poems because I had to get my emotions out in some other way and poems helped because I got a deeper meaning from them and had to put lessons I learned the hard way in my writings. I feel as if these were meant for those who could under stand my pain and anger at those who did me wrong. I don't care what you think about my writing because it's part of me and this is how i'm choosing to show you who I am. I was bullied. I did have my heart broken. I have came back stronger. When it all falls apart
Lingling had everything-success, wealth, and a woman who loved her unconditionally. But in her pursuit of greatness, she took Orm's love for granted, brushing off her affections as mere distractions. One night, exhausted from work, Lingling ignored Orm's calls, thinking they were just more of the same sweet nothings. The next morning, she woke up to dozens of missed calls and a voicemail that shattered her world-Orm had been in a terrible accident, and her last words were "I love you." Consumed by guilt and grief, Lingling spirals into despair, wishing for nothing more than a chance to go back-to love Orm the way she deserved.
