That's what she've heard, she is what humans would call Grim reaper. Except a few things, that make her more human.

Reapers tend to harvest a human's soul, when the human have died.
But this particular "grim reaper", would do anything to save this boy's soul. Count in she'd put her life on the line, just to protect him.

And who is this "special" boy, the grim reaper dearly wants to protect?
His name is Kody.
Her name is Payton.
