Probably most of us dream of a sibling who cares about us, who throws their weight behind us at any time. About a sister with whom we could talk about everything, or about a brother who would defend us from the needling boys.
Nassie Walker has had such a brother since she remembered. At any given moment she can count on him, and he can count on her. Without a mother, with an aggressive father, they have to rely only on themselves, which is why they care about each other at all costs.
But there are some limits to that, right?
The death of his beloved one, the alcoholic father and the revenge of his friend - it all makes Ian Walker mad. Worried about her sister, he decides to put his plan into practice. A plan that has many consequences, for which he will have to pay a lot.

Due to having a terrible memory, Aiden decided to write in journals about his daily struggles, his longing for a better life, and breakthroughs that he accomplishes throughout the story. Aiden can choose to live with his mom but chooses not to because he wants to protect his brother who can't choose yet. As Aiden dives deeper into his fathers unknown past, he uncovers more and more details about his father's past. As he continues to dive deeper, the tension grows heavier. Through out the story, Aiden finds himself digging through old journals, trying to remember certain things. Can Aiden solve the mystery of his father's behavior and show the world the true nature of his father or will he choose to shrink down to nothing and continue to struggle?Concluida
