Follow the journey and thoughts of a Jewish World War ll survivor as she lets go of the sister she lost, Aleida Dieter.
"I have Aleida's notebook. The Weber's had saved it after our house was raided, and they sent it in the mail to me. How they found my new, American address, well, I can't say that I know. Aleida used it to keep track of all her elaborate pranks and such, but she also wrote down her feelings and thoughts. I rip up the papers in it and throw it in the wind. I think I can finally move on from Miss Aleida Dieter. She'll always be in my heart and I'll always remember her, but I finally can admit that she is truly gone. Now she can fly and be free, as she always wanted to be. "
