"For crying out loud! Love is for actors and idiots. If there is ever a day I become interested in anybody ever again shoot me on the spot- you hear?" -- ♡ -- Mae Jensen has had it. Her last relationship flopped dramatically and her track record with boys in general is terrible. However, the reality is that even as she insists otherwise, Mae desires somebody. Independence has served it's course and as she gets older and the few good friends she has get into relationships of their own, she begins to wonder whether what everyone keeps saying about how "Love will make its way to you when you least expect it" is actually all bullshit and if she'll die tragically alone - in a house - with a cat that will probably eat her rotting corpse... probably. Trusting too easily and falling too hard Mae has to find the fine balance between being available and getting herself hurt. Will she be able to wait long enough to be found, or will she give up on the idea of love before it has had the chance to reach her?
