Elexiys Lourdes Constance is a single parent of 2 (Ryshad &  Kaleigh)  who took legal guardianship  of her of her now 12 year old sister , Amina Lanieé, after their father died in a car accident and their mother resorted to drugs. She then meets Dave East, who had a hood past and was in the trenches when he was younger. He promises her he'll give them a better life, but being the girlfriend of a known rapper comes with a lot of expectation and hate from abroad. She doesn't know what to expect. Is she going to stay with his promise, or is she gonna drift back to the south?
