Opening Move

It's been two years since the Differences appeared- and along with them, the Hunters. Sworn to keep people with gifts away from the general public. In that time, many people with extraordinary gifts have been rounded up, cataloged, and imprisoned by the Hunters for being different.

Enter Matthew Kings- a boy who's trapped in the middle of the growing conflict. His mother works for the head of the Hunters, but he's a Difference himself. Unwilling to be locked away for something he can't control, he runs away with other Differences who are planning to spark a revolution for their kind.

Behind the scenes, a growing evil set on the universal extinction of all life looms, controlling people like they're pawns in a game of interstellar chess.
