"No one ever tells the story about being the "bad guy," in the relationship. No one ever admits that they royally screwed up, and no one ever speaks about how much they know they hurt someone. So when they say they're sorry for hurting their partner, are they really sorry? I'm here to tell you that and to tell my story. My name is Gabriela Gardner and I cheated on my boyfriend of four years with several different people. I could sit here and tell you x y and z excuses, but the truth: I lost myself. And in losing myself, I lost the greatest part of my life, Mason Hunt." Gabriela Gardner is an average teen, minus the fact that she's practically been in love with the same boy for almost half of her life. Mason Hunt and Gabriela had been best friends since childhood. They went to school together, played together, and eventually they dated and fell in love. They became high school sweethearts, but once college came everything changed. They knew things would become more complicated with distance, but never did they think one of them would betray the other. Is there still hope for them? Will they make it through a "rough patch?" Or is there far too much damage to repair what once was?

The Corelli and Carmichael families have been neighbors for years. The men were friends, so it only made sense for their children to be just as close. But just how close is TOO close? *** Lucas and Michaela were inseperable. So much so that they had their own standing orders at some places. They shared secrets and mischief and they loved that they could depend on one another. Lucas has held a candle for Michaela for years. She liked him too, but she moved on from her schoolgirl crush once he started dating and she realized he would never see her the same. When Lucas comes home again the Summer of her senior year of high school, things suddenly start to change between them. It makes their lives go from 0 to 100 in a heartbeat and neither of them expected it to happen. Excerpts from the story: * We've always been a good team. Hell, the best when we teamed up against others. If we can't keep an eye on him, no one can... * "So, what's the problem then?" I sit back in triumph, grinning. My hands are on my thighs but my eyes stay on my girl. "Come on," I start, stretching the two words tauntingly. Elijah groans. Michaela's eyes narrow as if telling me not to, but I was going to anyway, no matter how cute her scowl is. "Live a little."
