Late one night, Zoë awoke to strange sounds in her uncle's farmhouse. Assuming it was burglars that caused the noise, Zoë escaped through the window of her room and raced to the nearest police station to find help. But things were not at all as it seemed... This short story (or should I say super short story) is designed in such a way that it consists only of two chapters. I also kept the chapters quite short (about 500 words each) to make it fast to read. Because of this, Moonlight is the perfect short story to read in those useless gaps of time between appointments and activities. Please try it out, it won't take you more than 10 minutes to read and give it a vote if you enjoyed it! Reviews: I love how the first chapter was very haunting. I have never read a short story like this one. Good job! ~TockAC This was really good! I was intrigued the entire time and was left wanting more once I finished. ~leannamattos

Anya was happily mated and was with twins. But hearing her mate on the phone with another woman broke her heart in seemingly irreparable ways as the stress made one of her little girls vanish with a pang of pain as she quietly and calmly went to her brother-in-law's cabin. Her brother-in-law took one look and knew, he handed the keys of his truck over to his own mate and had him take Anya to the hospital because the smell of blood was too concerning. That was years ago, and her mate hasn't been seen since though she wants to shoot him she does miss him, deep deep down in the depths of her heart. This is book one of a series of stand-alone novellas.
