. ❝ She sits on her uncomfortable bed.
Life used to be better than this, but now, her scant possessions
litter the floor. The paint is peeling from the white-washed walls.
A tear escapes her eye and rushes to collide with the ugly, brown
carpet.
"No." She whispers. "Everything is alright. Soon I will be in
wonderland."
She rests her head on her lumpy pillow and releases a world-
weary breath.
"Yes." She breathes. "To Wonderland." ❞
