Ebony goes through struggles with friends, and finds herself in the middle of trying to get her heart, head, and loved ones back in line. She finds herself debating between beliefs, moral values, and her future. The world tells her one thing, but her heart says the next. She learns that words aren't just the most poetical neither lovely, but harsh and cold. That's when her words aren't just to cut down but as a weapon to defend. She goes on a train to see her parents, and the train blows up. She forgets who she is tries to find who "Ebony" is and was. She meets new friends, and goes back to her past. She learns who she was and has to decide if she wants to be "The New Ebony" or "The Old Ebony".
