Eve Leroy was born as one of the lucky. Then she became one of the chosen. Then they turned her into a monster.

Every 100 years, ten newborn children are chosen to be collected from their parents and be delivered to the king. At the castle, they are trained to obtain one of the ten different skills to do the kings bidding.

Eve was trained to protect. Eve was trained to survive. Eve was trained to murder.

Using her training, she has to do most of the kings dirty work, hurting the people he commands her too, whether she thinks it's okay or not.

One day a foreigner comes to her with a choice. Continue working for the king, or help unlock hidden secrets within the kingdom's walls, freeing the people no one knew were hidden.
