Winter lives in a world with non- humans. She saved many and protected them and lost loved ones along away. She still took those risks. She finally had the chance to have a normal life but how could she live a normal life if everything about her, everything she knows is not normal.

The government come together to destroy all non-humans will she be able to save the people she cares for, even the mate who rejected her, even the people who threatened to kill her family. Will she ever live a life with no action or killing will she finally get to live a life where she is loved as much as she loves them. Will peace finally come for all non-humans.
