In a world where werewolves are known but discriminated against society, one girl is on a quest to not only find out who she is, but find out what it means to be a "free wolf".

"Now would anyone like to share what they wrote in their journals?" The room went dead silent. Mr. Cannon, the Creative Writing teacher sighed. "Why did I bother? Mina! Why don't you share this time?"
The whole class grumbled in response. Some commented under their breath audible enough for me to hear.
"Oh? Is Call of the Wild gonna tell us about her time in the zoo?"
"Savage beast."
"I'd kill myself if I were her."
Mr. Cannon quieted down the class. I stood up proudly and cleared my throat to gain everyone's attention.
"I would love to Mr. Cannon but I'm afraid the reading comprehension of most of the class is so unethically cultured that my words would hardly have meaning in their... special lives." I looked straight at the guy who called me Call of the Wild and winked. The kid looked extremely confused which made me smirk as I sat back down in my seat.
