In the not-too distant future, Sadie and her 10-year-old son Zeke, with the help of his quirky grandma Daria, live life on the run from an oppressive government. The powers that be are trying to salvage humanity from plummeting birthrates and depleted natural resources by corralling what could be the last generation of the human species. Their methods are anything but humane as they deploy super-data fueled bots to track the rogue families who refuse to comply with being separated. Sadie, like any mom, will stop at nothing to protect her own. And there's no way she'll let Zeke live his life in a lab or a zoo - even if he is an Endling.

Rebooting the Oberrlyn's
The Oberllyn's in the year 2018 are a shadow family.
