One Call Away

Ever since Mackenzie and Charlie were little they were always friends, given they were neighbors in the small town of Rumson New Jersey. 'Mack' who was affectionately named that when the pair of best friends were teen-agers in their Junior Year, and Charlie would talk about her like she was a boy. It was when Mackenzie heard him she fought with him about it.

On their senior year of High School they were not speaking untill it was around prom and Charlie asked his best friend to prom with him with a crazy amount of people and a sign reading 'I'm sorry for being too stupid, you're very pretty, so will you go to Prom with me?' Mackenzie didn't know that night would be the spark of something that got squashed quickly, Mackenzie had her first kiss! With Charlie. A few minutes later she saw him kissing another girl. She ran out and hadn't talked to him the rest of the year and would only text him when she wasn't busy with college the year of her freshman year.

After graduating college with a degree in marketing a lonely 22 year old Mackenzie called Charlie and asked to stay with him for a little while. He said yes. That was the year Charlie's career exploded and Mackenzie launched her music career.
