Dear daughter, Now that you're old enough, I've decided to gift you my collection of poems. You're in your teens now and I remember how difficult that time was for me, how difficult it is for all young girls. I hope when you read through my experiences, and get a sense of my innermost feelings, you'll realise that we're the same in many aspects. Like you, I've struggled with heartbreak, pain, loss, love, friendships and insecurities, and this is my advice to you. This is a heads up. A reminder that you are not alone, and that you can and will overcome anything and everything that is holding you back. Love, Your mother ⚠️ Contains references to sensitive topics, such as depression, abuse, sex and violence.
