Even though the waters of Maine were cold and lonely Skylar couldn't have loved being a mermaid more. She got her three hours on land a day where she could travel to her small town and talk with her one friend Dan. Then enjoy the sea life the rest of the day.

Soon though her feelings grow for a boy who's just moved to town and as her loneliness worsens, she gets more and more tempted to use the one weapon she promised herself she would never use...her voice. She could lead him to sea with her, but there could be a deadly price, will she pay it?

6 parts Complete Mature

A story similar to a classic fairy tale, but with a major twist ... What if the little mermaid were a deep sea merman instead? And what if the human he fell in love with went to live with him in the sea instead? Though born as a regular human on land, Henrietta always felt as if she were suffocating. She struggled to survive and belong among her kind. On a night when she sought to end her life at sea, she was rescued by Elsen, a merman who had once felt the same as her. Despite coming from different worlds, their shared experiences instantly built a bridge between them. When misfortune struck again, Henrietta lost her home and was driven to the edge once more. Seeing that she had nowhere else to go, Elsen brought her to his home in the deep sea. Although the ocean depths were tranquil and soothing, Henrietta's heart was still plagued with worries. And she soon discovered that Elsen also had yet to defeat his own demons. Will these two broken souls finally heal and come to love not only each other but themselves as well?
