17-year-old Darryn Starshine is the youngest member of the Galactic Federation's  43rd Special Forces squad, also known as Team Zodiac. What she also is is the orpahaned younger sister of the galaxy's greatest bounty hunter: Samus Aran. Darryn has been living in her older sister's shadow all her life, and she's had enough of it. Especially since Samus has never once exchanged words with her. Darryn wishes for nothing more than to find Samus and show her, once and for all, just how strong she has become. 

When the Galactic Federation sends Darryn's squad to investigate strange occurences on an abandoned space station deep in wild space, her dream suddenly comes within reach. Samus Aran, bounty hunter with a conscience, shows up as well, and Darren is determined to prove her worth to her older sister.
