Jay Wilcox is a telepath, a very strong telepath. When he sees a vision of the future involving some other children in his neighborhood, he realizes that it's time to make friends or make enemies. He meets these children in his vision: Colin, Lily, and Lionel Brown, and some that he didn't see, like Karma de la Cruz, a Russian orphan whom he soon befriends. Karma also has a superpower: the power to control virtually everything so long as a person has good or bad karma. She was trying to find the killer of her Uncle Ivan when she runs into Jay, and they quickly become friends. However, a mad scientist named Professor Jones kidnaps all of them and more to participate in his experiment, and Jay must try and save them before it's too late; Professor Jones' experiment had never worked before, and it may still not work on them.

Viktor didn't expect to be abducted by aliens when he went to school one morning, and he certainly didn't expect to be thrown into the alien equivalent of a dog-fighting ring, either. But when fighting for his life quickly becomes his routine, will he be able to muster up the strength to break that mold? Especially when the fate of humanity rests on his shoulders? *** The Vokkrus, a warrior alien species, go to Earth with the intention to 'rescue' the human species from their dying planet. The catch is that they believe humans to be nonsentient and incapable of intelligent thought. They are treated as nothing more than the common animal. They are a commodity, something to fawn over and ogle at. Humanity's strength and stamina are nearly unrivaled on this new planet, and when Viktor is taken to an alien fighting ring, he quickly dominates the competition. Mercy has no place in the arena. When Viktor is adopted by the leader of the Vokkrus, an intimidating alien whose intentions are unclear, he is forced to shed his wariness and convince the alien king to save humanity from his accidental oppression. *** Please don't advertise other stories in the comments! After the Villain Heard the Housekeeper's Voice Author: 西兰树 Jing Yi was a penniless nobody, struggling to make ends meet. After an unexpected accident, he found himself transmigrated into a series of tragic romance novels, taking on the role of the head butler in a wealthy family. A job with room and board included. Thinking he had finally secured a comfortable life, Jing Yi soon discovered a major problem-the young masters of the family were hopeless romantics. Their obsession with love was so extreme that they lost all sense of reason, dooming the family to financial ruin and forcing them to live under bridges. Jing Yi was exasperated-just like that, his stable job was gone.
