Eight year old, Indigo, was found abandoned in a car by Rick Grimes, a sheriff searching for his wife and son. Rick is determined to protect the little girl at all costs but what if she isn't who she says she is.

As this book is focused on season 1 - 2 of The Walking Dead show, a lot of comments will probably be discussing spoilers of old characters looking back at these story lines. (Kind of like remembering back, memories) So if you haven't seen the show up to at least Season 8, just be aware you could get spoiled by random comments or gifs aka the cast section when I can't find those characters in specific seasons. The Lost Dixon // The Walking Dead
The tall, skinny man and young boy with a sheriff's hat, stood in the prison yard staring right back at me; bloody and wounded, basket full of formula in hand, the obvious look of exhaustion washed over me. The dead slowly turns their head and stares at me, smelling the fresh blood on my hand. I backed myself away, pulling out my knife. I found myself jabbing the walker in the head. Two more follow after me and the rest turn to the attention. I huffed out a breath, trying to catch it. My body grows too weak to keep myself standing, my vision grows blurry. My knees buckle together and I fall to the ground. My eyelids grow too heavy to keep open and I finally pass out. Reece is a lonesome ranger. She travels by foot and all on her own, avoiding any living person. When Reece spots a woman running through the dark woods, covered in smoke, she makes a decision to help her out or leave her to the dead. Little did Reece know, she would reunite with two special people again. **THIS STORY WILL START AT THE END OF SEASON 2 AND PICK UP IN SEASON 3. The End Has Come but I'm Still Here
They say the world is over, but I'm still here. If it's the end of days then why are people still alive, maybe the world isn't over perhaps they just have to learn how to survive in this new world. For Lexi Grimes that is a lot easier said than done. Her father was shot a week before the dead began to rise. Now Lexi has to be strong for her little brother Carl and their mother, Lori. Lexi was the one that got her brother and mom packed and ready to leave. While her mom was grabbing family albums and her brother was grabbing comic books, Lexi grabbed her Springfield Sniper, extra ammo, and her silencer. As well as any food that would last a while. She was already pulling out of the driveway to go get her father when Shane came in behind them, driving like a bat out of hell. Shane told them that Rick was dead, and he came to get them to safety, but Lexi didn't want to believe him. Shane had to physically stop Lexi from getting back in their car and driving to the hospital. The only thing that truly stopped her though was the look on her little brother's face, he needed her now more than ever.
