Eight year old, Indigo, was found abandoned in a car by Rick Grimes, a sheriff searching for his wife and son. Rick is determined to protect the little girl at all costs but what if she isn't who she says she is.
All rights for their characters and story go to AMC The Walking Dead. I only own my characters which will be in bold in the Cast section.

As this book is focused on season 1 - 2 of The Walking Dead show, a lot of comments will probably be discussing spoilers of old characters looking back at these story lines. (Kind of like remembering back, memories) So if you haven't seen the show up to at least Season 8, just be aware you could get spoiled by random comments or gifs aka the cast section when I can't find those characters in specific seasons. The End Has Come but I'm Still Here
They say the world is over, but I'm still here. If it's the end of days then why are people still alive, maybe the world isn't over perhaps they just have to learn how to survive in this new world. For Lexi Grimes that is a lot easier said than done. Her father was shot a week before the dead began to rise. Now Lexi has to be strong for her little brother Carl and their mother, Lori. Lexi was the one that got her brother and mom packed and ready to leave. While her mom was grabbing family albums and her brother was grabbing comic books, Lexi grabbed her Springfield Sniper, extra ammo, and her silencer. As well as any food that would last a while. She was already pulling out of the driveway to go get her father when Shane came in behind them, driving like a bat out of hell. Shane told them that Rick was dead, and he came to get them to safety, but Lexi didn't want to believe him. Shane had to physically stop Lexi from getting back in their car and driving to the hospital. The only thing that truly stopped her though was the look on her little brother's face, he needed her now more than ever.
