Cracked hearts is a term for a rare type of wolf. One year after they can 'turn'(from wolf to human or vis versa) they get a crystal in the form of half a heart. Their soul mate will get the same thing. Only soul mates hearts will fit together because all 'hearts' are different.

I'm a wolf from The Wild Oak Pack. This story begins on my 17th Birthday when I get my cracked 'heart'! When I turned 16 I was able to turn human.
Yes, as humans call us, I am a werewolf. But my official species is a Loup Dier. It means I am a wolf/human and was born as a wolf.

Hey, I'm Colt. I'm a run away I guess. I left my pack after I got my 'heart'. I was the only cracked heart in my pack so I knew my life was elsewhere.
Although, I'm not really looking for a soul mate. You are probably wondering why because it's "such a big deal" or whatever. But to me, I just want to live my life I guess. I don't need a mate, right?

I charged at him with my cheetah speed, picked up a wooden rod and started hitting him wildly, 'You idiotic stinky breath was trying to steal my backpack. You are so dead.' 'Favour, favour, favour.' He was screaming in pain just after few seconds and was panting hard. I picked my paste from my bag and threw at him, 'Brush your teeth.' I was fuming.
