bruce and thor. what an odd pairing; yet it somehow works. and they both know that.

from the moment they both first laid eyes upon each other, they knew that they were destined to be something more, and not just something more with the avengers.

something more amongst themselves.

a few years later, trouble strikes paradise. thor and bruce break up. bruce still plagues thor's mind, but he continues on. with an ache and the embers of a fire that once stood inside of him, roaring and screaming with all its heart's desire.

until thor's sister arrives following his fathers death, and him and loki get stranded in the grandmaster's realm.

it isn't until he enters the arena that all hope is restored, yet also lost.

a terrifically complicated space adventure ensues, causing them to mend their love and their trust, along with each other.

then, their love is torn apart again. they learn that they have lost everything. they go on suicide missions and death traps; truly believing that love doesn't always win.

in the midst of a battle, lighting and fire ensues. they both regain their love, but they focus on the battlefield.

that is, until the snap.
