The most average person there is, Alias (Ah-lie-as), walks into a world of secrets from the mortal eye.
"Everything you thought you knew about the supernatural isn't all true," he learns from the girl without emotions, Vionel (V-eye-oh-nel). But why would a girl without emotions keep someone around that figured out her secret? Why not get rid of him? Or leave town? Something is keeping her by his side, and Alias ants to know. However, can he fight her "succubus" trance enough to find out?
