Edd and Tord were somewhat opposites. Tord being an introvert, who can barely speak any english, and Edd, being an extrovert, though still having his shy moments. When Tord develops feelings for Edd, he doesn't know what to do. He musters up the confidence to tell him, but is left heartbroken afterwards.
