In the year 3020, Earth has been decimated for many decades. Humans have survived by building colonies on other planets or their moons. Some planets are hospitable, others require their inhabitants to stay inside due to "dangers". The first ever successful colony was Colony Pandora and for many years humans built more habitats for themselves, at some point it seemed as though they reached Utopia. Years later, it seems things have taken a turn for the worst.

In a world ravaged by a virus and plagued by conflict, a girl named Pandora Meyer recovers from the virus that took her memories and lives with her father, Abraham, in an isolated cottage hidden by the thick forests of the northern peninsula of Michigan. One day, she saves a boy who says his colony needs help. The southern peninsula was taken over by a cult hellbent on either growing their numbers or wiping out sinners, and they want to expand northward. As she helps the northerners fight off the violent cult, she must figure out who she is and how to survive in a harsh, unforgiving world where one slip up will kill you. However, she soon begins to wonder who the real enemy is. They say the Pandora of ancient myth opened her box and doomed humanity, but can this Pandora save it? P.S. The first world is the key ____________________________ This tells the tale of two men who live at a point in time where the galaxy has been colonized and people are running out of new places to live. Governments have ignored this problem for eons, pressing forward while the people suffer behind them. Many desolate worlds exist that cannot support life, but the technology exists to terraform them in a short amount of time. The increasing demand for new planets is insatiable, however, and barely habitable worlds are being colonized despite the incredible risk. The men search these worlds in the hopes that they might find one where life exists such that its example could be used to save the whole galaxy from its many ecological crises, bringing a balance between progress and long-term survival.
