Kaiden is just a normal teenager, making his way through his sophomore year of high school. Excelling in athletics, specifically Track. His grades are outstanding, and he has his hidden talents of singing and playing guitar. Everything seems to be going fine, but that ends up crashing down after the death of his father. He and his mother decide that now is a good time to start fresh and move. They move from Cairo, Illinois to Milford, Connecticut in hopes to start from a clean slate. His extremely religious family was led by his mother, so once they moved he was still forced to go to church even if he didn't agree. Upon moving, Kai is enrolled into a new high school, Winterglenn. Kai went from being the most popular, most athletic, and most loved guy in his school to being someone that nobody even knew the name of. That is, until Jay makes an appearance. Jay is the most popular guy in the school, and ends up convincing Kai to join the track team. Hoping his previous experience would help him to make friends.
