Melanie is a beautiful, rebellious, and care free girl if it wasn't for the fact that she's an immortal mermaid without a soul or emotions. That is until she finds the sinking body of Hali Ford, a senior in high school with although a seemingly perfect life, she hides the abuse she faces at home and outside of school. In a suicide attempt, Hali is saved by Melanie and she returns to shore. But something about Hali makes Melanie feel...human and not such of an outcast. After days in the hospital, Hali is determined to find the person who saved her...so she could kill them.
Only walks at the beach and time will tell if Hali will kill the girl who rescued her or if they both end up...interested in each other's different worlds.
