Weeping Willows (NaNoWriMo 2018)

Willow Randolph is human, a rare and dangerous thing in a city of supernatural creatures. As an aspiring detective with a promising skill set, she is appointed to shadow Detective Thomas 'Wolfie' Elmsworth as he investigates a series of homicides involving a local vampire coven. The body count rises steadily, but with little leads to follow, Willow is assigned to her very first undercover mission: she is going to be the wife of Ronan Hughes, the leader of the largest vampire coven in the city.

Ronan is distant and overly polite to Willow in private, yet protective and approachable in public. Despite his constantly shifting emotions, Willow quickly finds herself being captivated by the true man behind his multiple masks, even as the threat to her life grows greater with each passing day...
