Ja'far's duty as the royal vizier is to protect the kingdom he loves from the sultan's bloody reign. When the Seer of the Sands receives a premonition that foretells Agrabah's destruction, Ja'far seeks the street rat responsible and comes face-to-face with his childhood enemy--the boy Ja'far blames for his parent's deaths. 

Changing the outcome of the premonition comes with great sacrifice. He is in love with the sultan's head guard. Ja'far is faced with a choice: does he finally let go of his troubled memories and pursue a better life with Navid? Or will he sacrifice his love and happiness by marrying the unhinged princess Jasmine to save Agrabah?

No matter who he chooses, something evil is consuming Agrabah.  The people are growing restless, tired of suffering under the abuse of Sultan Harun al-Rashid's tyranny.  From the streets rebel groups fight for power and revolution. In a war of magic, manipulation, jealousy, sex, honor, and blood, Aladdin and Ja'far must fight together to find the one magical item that could give everyone in Agrabah their happy ending: a magic lamp.

Long ago, in the ancient kingdom of Surasena, lived two. A young princess by the name of Ananya, and a commoner whom was called Imaran. There lived also an evil sorcerer by the name of Balveer, an advisor to the Sultan. This is their story, a classic retelling of the fairy tale Aladdin. Jinn is the more proper term for genie. It can also be spelled djinn which is the Romanized version. I chose to go with the more traditional version. Cover by my dear friend who did it for me. Their art skills are absolutely impeccable! A message to all my readers: This story has many characters that are ignorant, bigoted and downright cruel to our main character. I wanted to have everyone understand that these actions are extreme examples of homophobia, and that, generally, it is far more subtle.
