Ven was a detective, sworn to never lie to the court or fellow detectives. He took his oath very seriously, and hardly ever lied. 
    
    He was in love with his girlfriend, Lillith, but she didn't quite return the feelings. She only played with his heartstrings.
    
    On the other hand,  Brayden was a criminal. He had gotten away with two murders so far. He hardly left any evidence that he was there. He pushed himself away from others, not wanting to fall in love or spill his secrets. 
    
    Though, he had always wondered what it was like to be a "good guy"..
