Suddenly his world changes and all around him feelings and people he never knew existed slice through his heart like an icy razor. He sees things that he only ever heard in fairy tales or even the world before, things that he thought were impossible. Can he stay alive long enough to save his friends from the insanity of Boss? And is it possible that he can learn to care about humanity again? A teen thriller with plenty of twists, turns and drama on every page. Has been officially completed, but I have ideas to expand it. I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. How would you feel waking up and not remembering anything? Waking up a stranger to your own body. The hard part being trying to flow back into your everyday life like normal. This story is inspired by ancient China and doesn't have a specific time period it plays out in (remember that it's a fantasy world and not meant to be 100% history accurate, it's a world I made not a documentary lol) and all characters are my own and I do not allow for them to be used (fanart or fanfics are okay), I cannot say more than that without spoiling everything! but if you enjoy reading Danmei you will surely love this! I am actively working on getting my drawings in the chapters! and I use modern (not American) time and measurement increments so that nobody has to go and google it just to keep reading lol A GENERAL TW: there is gore, SA, torture, just in general gruesome stuff but it's all part of the story line and things WILL get better, there is both a ton of hurt and a ton of comfort so do not worry!
