Betrayed.

Edward Harrington's POV

I realized that I made a mistake by yelling at her and telling her to leave and so, I followed her to her room.

I was about to apologize to her but then something stopped me. I saw her kiss that Jason dude and then I saw her fall asleep on his chest.

I felt more rejected than ever. My heart sank. She's not willing to accept me as her mate because of him and he, on the other hand is trying to steal her away from me and I have to stop him. It's not official yet but she's my mate and I'm not losing her for anyone.

And by looking at her, I noticed something so familiar about her. She reminds me of one of my brothers, Alec.

My father told me that they found him 18 years ago in the woods, alone and they took him in as one of their own and him and I instantly became best friends. And, like her, he has blonde hair and blue eyes and as a wolf.. Like her, he has white fur and blue eyes.

They look oddly similar.

Every time I ask Alec if he remembers how he ended up in the wilderness, he shuts me down and I know that it hurts him, a lot.

My father told me that when they found him, the only thing he remembered was his name. He didn't remember his parents or where he came from.. It seemed like he just got lost or something.. Like his family never existed at all.

But something tells me that.. This is where his family resides and I, will make sure I prove it. Not only for him but for Anastasia.
