Lady Lyra

Female pups are taken from their homes after one year. By then, they have what they need to survive in the care of others. From then on they are trained in one of four categories based on attributes that they have.

One: trained to be perfect housewives and mothers.
Two: taught to serve men in any way.
Three: trained to serve the pack to see it thrive from within.
Four: warriors.

Gabriel is an alpha. Well, sort of. Alpha blood courses throughout him and he is constantly at war with the primal urge to lead. After the disappearance of his father and death of his mother when he was nine, he left without the skills to take care of his people so he handed the responsibility over to his fathers beta and uncle, Michael.

Lyra is tired. She desperately wants to be free from the complex and the people who have kept her well past her year. Will the completion of her own mission to find her future leave her free?
