Charlie Wallace moves to a new town hoping to finally escape her dark past. All she wants is a normal life. Is that too hard to ask for?

She just has to focus on schoolwork and keep her head down. No friends, no enemies, no boyfriends or girlfriends, no problems. It'll be a piece of cake.

On her first day, something surprising already happens and she gets pulled into a world that she didn't want to be in. Charlie ends up meeting Dominic Fox in the process and she immediately doesn't like him.

He's arrogant, handsome, dangerous and too interested in Charlie. She can't risk anyone getting to know her let alone trying to figure her out and unscramble her secrets.
