"Care to dance?" He reached out a hand, half-bent in a bow; his gaze remained glued to the floor, a smirk evident on his face.
She drew in a sharp breath. And smiled. Turning away from him, she let out a silent snort. "Ha, you wish Joel-ene."
He longed for the day he could stop her by grabbing her hand and tell her: "Yeah, I do wish."
He longed for the day he could take her breath away.
