Amanda Waller was put in position to oversee that the zero hero act was finished but she had bigger plans instead. After saving the world from Enchantress, the Squad were put back in jail with minor benefits until they are needed again. Now, a new threat emerges, the Justice League, the Goverment wants them now that they are a possible enemy to the US Government. The Suicide Squad is once again called but with a few new members that may just complete the worst heroes ever league

But after Kevin's 21st birthday, tragedy strikes when the Joker tricks Superman into killing Lois and their unborn child, causing a chain reaction in which Metropolis is destroyed, and Superman murders the Joker out of revenge, now motivated to end world violence and crime, even if it means having to kill. This leaves the Justice League divided, either allying with Clark or allying with Bruce. Seeing that Superman was right in killing Joker, Andrea Beaumont has decided to go back to being the Phantasm and allies herself with the corrupted Man of Steel, putting a strain on her relationship with Kevin and his father.
