What if Harumi did not die and was instead incarcerated for her crimes?
In a cold cell at the city penitentiary, Lloyd Garmadon's caring nature and past desire finds him questioning the beautiful personification of evil that pulls him there.
Disjointed from his team Lloyd finds solace in the city at night. From the rooftops he watches life as it should be and struggles to come to terms with his past, the family he has battled and a love he can't let go off.
Pushed to do the unthinkable, he sets in motion a journey into his own heart of darkness while from the shadows a new threat to Ninjago distracts his team from coming to his aid.
Written after Season 8, so the events of season 9 are not taken into account.
There's Jaya; a mini OT3 moment (just for fun), Cole and Nya are buddies, Pixane, Kai is super fiery, I love him; Cole & Zane on a mission, new baddies, new goodies, Zane's Falcon, twists and turns, star-crossed lovers & kissing... of course.

I sit on my bed, desperate for a distraction. I'm losing him again, I've lost him four times now, when he left me alone, never contacting me (his girlfriend at the time) or never calling me- what I would have done for a simple text, a good morning, or a "HEY HRU?" I would have even settled for a letter, even a pigeon would do! 2.) was when he yelled at me, "Adelaide, I'm not scared about me! Why do you always feel like you have to protect me, and protect everybody? I found a family in you guys, and Harumi and we can fuckin' handle ourselves, but you don't seem to get shit, do you!" It had felt like I was alone again. Nobody had talked about it with me around, and I didn't talk about it period. 3.) Not even 2 hours later, he comes in and tells me about why he did all this. I understood, but I had a right to be mad- but for some reason I didn't even think about getting mad. We were okay, but more and more distant as Harumi got closer. Even thinking about that bitch made me let out a angry huff and I cross my arms tightly around my torso, in a makeshift self-hug. and now, 4.) when I am going to die. I feel the urge to yell "I TOLD YOU SO!" about Harumi, in any other situation, I would have. But nothing's funny when you are about to be sacrificed. Especially, when you hate the girl who's killing you. the thing is, I never got to say goodbye- they all think I left on my own accord because I didn't like Harumi, and I'll never see them again. What started as an innocent romance, spiralled into the end of Ninjago and to my inevitable slaughter. I only hope that the ninja figure out that Harumi kinda sucks, and get here in time to save my ass. STARTED AUGUST 29 FINISHED ??

"How's the marriage coming along...?" Lloyd looked away with a disappointed sigh, trying to dodge Kai's gaze by staring at the floor. "I haven't even found a ring. Not a wedding, nor an engagement." He put his hand to his face. "I gotta be the worst boyfriend ever." It's been a few months since the two have moved into their new house, and life has changed more than ever. Harumi is now the CEO of her father's company, and Lloyd feels as if he's falling behind. He can't even propose right, but does he even deserve to? Harumi wants nothing more but to ask Lloyd to start a family, but it's near impossible with their schedules and her fear of Lloyd rejecting it. To solve both their dilemmas, Lloyd looks for a new job, and with a suggestion from Skylor, the two foster an interesting pair of children. Arin, a boy who lost his parents and was given away at a very young age, and Sora, a girl who ran away from home after years of neglect and abuse. Almost spitting images of the two.
